Searching for Perfection.
I started smoking cigars over 20 years ago; mainly to look cool. I didn’t have a clue about anything cigars. As time went on, I would smoke on special occasions. My stick of choice was a Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon and Remy Martin VSOP. Fast forward to 2019 I was in search of a black owned cigar lounge; after doing some research I found The Boardroom Whiskey and Cigar Lounge in Fort Worth. I picked a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 and ordered a Remy Martin 1738. The gentleman sitting at the bar suggested that I try it with a Cabernet (Raymond to be exact). He explained to me why and what the experience would be. Little did I know that the person I was talking to the was the owner (B.P. Battles) and my entire cigar smoking experience changed. It was a moment; an experience that opened my eyes to a culture and lifestyle that I have come to enjoy.
My goal is to introduce you to the culture and the same experience that B.P. Battle at the Boardroom introduce me to. So come and go with me and find the Perfect Pairing.
